David Berger
Psychologist
David has a deep passion for psychology and sees life as an adventure, where the obstacles we encounter are each challenges we can grow from. He uses Western evidence-based treatment methods and is also strongly influenced by Eastern philosophies and the months he spent in Asia on meditation retreats. David is also trained in body-oriented interventions, through which he helps you reconnect with your feelings, gain valuable insights, and experience life in a more colorful and vibrant way.
David holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Groningen.
David also is a certified Embodiment Coach under embodiment teacher Mark Walsh and an experienced practicioner of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to helping you grow and approach problems as challenges, David believes this should be balanced with simply “being” and developing the ability to calm your nervous system.
David radiates a sense of calm and creates an open, non-judgmental atmosphere where your darkest themes are welcome. He works with genuine curiosity, a warm heart, and—when possible—a healthy dose of humor.
